🎓 Eligibility

Bank of Baroda Apprentice:

Candidate must satisfy Bank of Baroda Apprentice Advertisement No. BOB/HRM/APPRENTICE/ADVT/2026/01 conditions.



1Portal registration: Candidate must be registered on NATS and/or NAPS portal before applying.

2Education: Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.

3NATS condition: For candidates registered under NATS, graduation passing date should not be more than 4 years before 01 May 2026.

4Age: Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as on 01 May 2026. Age relaxation is available as per Government of India guidelines for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates. NAPS registered candidates should be less than 34 years as on the cut-off date.

5Local language: Candidate must be proficient in the specified local language of the selected State/UT. Candidates with 10th or 12th mark sheet showing that language may be exempted from the language test.

6Prior apprenticeship / experience: Candidate should not have undergone apprenticeship earlier, should not be currently pursuing apprenticeship, and should not have one year or more training/job experience after the educational qualification.


Training and stipend: Training duration is 12 months. Apprentices are eligible for stipend of Rs. 15,000 per month and no other allowances/benefits.

The online examination is objective type and has 100 questions for 100 marks. The sections are General/Financial Awareness, Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude, Computer Knowledge, and General English. The duration is 60 minutes and the official advertisement states there will be no negative marks for wrong answers. Candidates qualifying the online examination will be considered State-wise and category-wise. The local language test is conducted after the online examination unless the candidate is exempted through 10th or 12th mark sheet evidence. Final engagement is subject to document verification, local language qualification where applicable, portal formalities, contract approval and Bank rules.

📝 Job Description

Bank of Baroda has released Advertisement No. BOB/HRM/APPRENTICE/ADVT/2026/01 for engagement of apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The recruitment has 5000 apprenticeship training seats across States and Union Territories. Online registration started on 19 May 2026 and the last date to apply is 08 June 2026. Candidates must first register on the Government apprenticeship portals, NATS and/or NAPS, and then apply for the Bank of Baroda apprenticeship opportunity through the official portal process. The minimum qualification is graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. The age limit is 20 to 28 years as on 01 May 2026, with relaxation as per Government of India guidelines and a special below-34 condition for NAPS registered candidates. Selection will be based on online examination, document verification and test of specified local language where applicable. The training duration is 12 months and selected apprentices will receive a stipend of Rs. 15,000 per month.
